This Green Cord at the factory is Prototype number 3. This was Glenn's personal car for demo's. This is the first car with Glenn's design of the front drive unit. The first two cars used Citrion drive units. (Glenn Pray collection)
Production car number 2 CC 1021 belongs to Gerald Pace of Tulsa Okla. The car is now being restored at the ACD Factory (Nov 2009)
This is Cord #7. It was once owned by Wayne McKinley (Glenn's business partner & President of the Cord Company of Tulsa OK). This is the only Glenn Pray Cord to have an externally mounted spare tire. (This was the 6th production Cord manufactured. Even though this is known as
Cord #7 VIN CC1071, there was no

This Cord is number 14. It was the first car ordered. General E C Lasher ordered it and he traded it back to Glenn for the First Auburn Speedster. This yellow Cord has resided in the "Pickle Factory" for many years, waiting to be restored.

Yellow Cord number 37 CC 1371 belongs the Dale Williams of Oklahoma City, Ok. The is Cord The car is all original.. nt shop, so decided to retro fit a dual master cylinder. This is Cord #46
Previous owners had soaked the engine trying to free it up. The engine didn't start when purchased. Most of the cylinders had rat droppings in them. There was the remains of a nest under the top shroud over #5.
So now you know more about my project. Sometimes it is overwhelming. Life gets in the way sometimes too. Not to mention $$$'s.
Owned by Mike & Marla Sweany
Oklahoma City, OK
I have owned Glenn Pray Cord #48 (CC1481) since 2006 when Felix pulled it out of the garage of the late original owner, Clinton Sanford, in Ellijay, Georgia, it having sat there since 1972 when the gas tank began to leak. Felix brought it back to Broken Arrow and Randy Golden did a wonderful job of repainting and much more. With only 8,200 miles on it when stored, it is otherwise very original, including the two pint-holders in the trunk – OK was dry in 1966. It has the turbo engine which is running great and the four-speed which is shifting very nicely. Owned by Ken Baldwin, San Diego, CA

This pretty white Cord showed up at the 2008 Glenn Pray Gathering.
Owned by Gary and Sheila Self of Cullman, Alabama.

The car is S/N 60 with a 180HP 4Spd drive train, and is totally unrestored (45K orig miles)It's and it still garners trophies at local car shows. It has a removable via a series of snap fasteners around the periphery of the wood trim. Two pivot bolts inside the back seat area are removed, the snaps undone and the top lifts off. It came that way from the factory, as far as I know. I generally only remove it for shows and club cruises and then only if the weather PROMISES not to rain. Owned by Andy Clark This is Cord #67. It was originally a 180 hp turbo with a 4 spd manual, but the engine was removed after 18k miles & a 110 hp was installed by Glenn Pray. It resided in Galena, Illinois until Nov. 2011 and is now owned by Greg Bennett of St Augustine, FL

I own # BC1891 Sportsman, and it spent most of its life in Alaska. I have owned this Cord for about 12 years and it's a 140 w PG. I gave up on ever finding 60s Datsun wheel covers, so made my own scaled down 36-37s using plain chrome disks and making some simple dies to roll the edges of the holes.[after laying out and drilling] I had a brake line rupture while at a wheel alignment shop, so decided to retro fit a dual master cylinder.
Owned by Hal Klassen, Vancouver, Canada
This Yellow Cord with the smaller driving lights on the front is number 68. This car has had the engine and transmission replaced with the 140 HP engine and Automatic Transmission. The paint and interior are original. This is the one I going to have Randy paint Marron.
Owned by Felix DeGeyter, Broken Arrow, OK

This is Cord #72. I purchased the non-running car in February 2010 from Mr. Gene Breece of Lubbock, Texas. Previous owners were: Peggy Mitchell, Benton Texas (original owner?), and William Collins, Benton, Texas. I am an auto mechanic/auto enthusiast (76), now retired from customer work. Gave the Cord an extensive inhouse refurbishment/sorting out over last year and part of this year. The car is now in regular use and is quite a delight. Power unit is the original 140HP, 4-carb engine and Powerglide transaxle. Owned by

This is a1968 Samco Cord that was bulit in Ok. It is a 1937, yellow in color. It has a Ford 302 in it. We bought our car in July 2002 in Olalla Wa. from a man named Russell Beard. We love to take our car on drives & have people ask us what kind of car it is. Most have never heard of a Cord. We have sent this info to Felix Degeyter & Dale Williams as he thinks our car was in the news back in 1969 in the OK. Dale Willams thinks it was when he was a kid & his dad was president of Cord at the time. Owned by Homer Benson, Shelton Washington
Attached is a pic of our Cord that we bought in April of this year at the Tulsa Swap Meet. We are what seems to be the third owners. It is titled as a '70 Cord. We have been driveing the wheels off this car taking it to car shows and driving around Okmulgee, where my wife and I live. It gets alot of attention. This picture was taken in June of this year in Broken Arrow at the show.
